I walk into a room where silence takes hold.
A woman stands center decrepit and old.
The room fills with nothing of any ship shape.
The woman moves forward to claim and to take.
My hand, in her hand
in our hands, in our hands.
She begins to grow younger as the room fills with light
She leans in and whispers "i'm the end of your plight."
I look in her eyes and see myself, but where?
I look at the door and I cant help but stare.
And i ponder, oh I ponder
And i wonder, oh i wonder
I take her and walk to the edge of the floor.
We take it in hand and walk out the door.
We see all the world in its glory and grace
We walk out the room now ready to face.
I say thank you to nothing because shes already gone.
I step into this new place, no longer alone
because I know that that room was not what we preferred,
she is really me, and I'm really her.
Together, forever
in this new world, this free world.
